Looks like we are in for a storm. Hope the roads don't get too bad overnight. I have to work tomorrow.

Up to Salem to see kids and grandkids this afternoo. Back here for dinner and rest of late football game.

Just doing burgers and oven fries,easy dinner.

We're on leftover soup. Made a double batch yesterday so there's plenty to go around. It will be good for a "stay wrapped up in your blankets" kind of day.

I hear you on the weather - I know it's coming this way (NY) - I made a nice batch of homemade meat sauce - so its thin linguine with meat sauce and homemade bread along with a salad in there somewhere.

Several of us single gals around town have started a Sunday Early Dinner Routine - where we go to one's house - have a homemade meal, which leaves us with less of those leftovers - It's been fun - next week we will be on to new recipes or those recipes we haven't made in awhile - and not for one another - so far we have only been doing this for a month - but gots to say, it's certainly fun, affordable and since we all love to cook yet live alone - it leaves us with little leftovers and homemade foods.

Becca has a friend coming over but we will be baking, I am going to make heart shaped sugar cookies with pink frosting (but need to find the heart cookie cutterLOL) also making cheesecake brownies and Kaluha cakes in the mini bundt pans although Speckadoo told me those are not the minis but the medium size because she found the real minis and bought those for me too. LOL I don't know how they could be much smaller.

I was up and at it this morning getting the breakfast and lunch fixed up for next work week. Used up most of the left over pork roast in the breakfast burritos and the left over chicken went into a chicken salad for lunch.

Still pondering whats for dinner. Currently I'm leaning toward a shrimp boil with some oriental cole slaw on the side. The cole slaw is made and ready and there isn't much effort in boiling up a mess of shrimp.

Pot of beans on the stovetop, pintos this week for lunches and sides. Making some garlic cheese spread and corn relish (purchased) for snacks Been ages since we've had garlic cheese.

Itty bitty chicken stir fry for supper or kielbasa and frozen pierogies. Depends on how much energy I have for chopping veggies.

So I have a cut up chicken. Out of Bisquick so can't do that. Thinking maybe Wynne's Baked Taco Chicken. Really liked that the last time I made it. Cic has been asking for fried chicken and I just don't think I have it in me.

Oh man, reading all your delicious meals has my mouth watering! They all sound terrific! Spent the weekend with the old man mostly so I didn't get on here. Had the requisite chicken nachos on Saturday night and it's tacos tonight. The ribs were fantastic on Friday night with baked beans. Sorry I missed you Wynne. Happy belated b-day! Hope you feel better.
Enjoy the snow all of you. I wish we would get some! Anything... but rain. But it was a nice Sat. here, clear morning and no rain today either so far, just cloudy and gray....
