Saw a new "bra" on the weird news page....it can hold a liter of liquor and has a flexible straw attached to the sports bra. It touts that it can increase your bust size by two cup sizes.

Can you imagine your date for the evening? "oh, look at my date!" and as the evening wears on begins to think, "my date looks a little deflated."

    Comments on the "find" were:

"You stuff with beer..........Will you marry me?"

"I thought this was perfect for my wife to wear when she drags me to the ballet or the opera, however, I might get arrested for taking a drink!"

Funny stuff. It made me giggle. What will they think of next?

Dinner is going to be a tuna loaf with creamed peas and onions. Steamed carrots with dill and honey. Mixed greens with Spartan's knock off dressing.

I saw a recipe for Martha's oreo cheesecake cupcakes that I have to try. It looked incredible.

    Have a great day.

    Interesting info on the bra!

Think Phil is having a piece of fish and I am having leftover rack of lamb that Jeanne brought home from the Aegean last night. Too hot and humid to fuss!

Back from the farmers market. Sold all but 5 jars of jelly. It paid rental for the market space and lunch with a few bucks left over for the pocket. Thought I was going to sell out completely but it started raining for the second time this morning. A definite crowd buster.

Walked the market looking for my competition. There was only one other booth selling canned goods. Their jellies were $4/quart jar. Mine were $1/half-pint jar. It's the same price but mine sold. Think maybe it's the idea of having an opened quart jar of jelly in the fridge that turned the table in my favor.

That adverting agency for the bra has a very funny sense of humor! TWO CUP SIZES hehehehe.

I"m glad your jelly sold well Points.

I have some sausages on the grill now. I figure that will make for a nice ravioli and sausage dinner for tonight. Haven't had anything that wicked in a while.

Looks like it's been quiet on the GR front today. Everyone must be getting their week wrapped up to enjoy the weekend.

I love the bra story. So funny!

I've been rallying the troops to give the family room a good once over for the Chiefs game tonight. The men will be taking over my territory to use the big screen. I really can't complain, it is his T.V. but they will be behind me when I am on here....ugh, they get so loud!

Not really sure what's for dinner. Keeping fingers crossed for take out something, hopefully Chinese, but it's not a payday so I have some ground beef thawing out just in case. Will decide for sure here in a bit.

Good job on the jelly's Points!

Thanks for reminding me of the chef vs. city...I'll go set it to record right now.

I got a lot of moans and groans when I pulled out the tuna and cream cheese to make the tuna loaf. NOW what do I look like a short order cook? Whaddya want, then?

Apparently, I've been out voted on the tuna loaf. Looks like it is going to be a garlic-sketti topped with grilled steak slices night here, salad with dressing, and cheesy bread. Carbo loading at it's finest. Sheesh. So much for planning ahead.

Great job on the jelly sales.

Chef vs city? what is that?

I haven't seen it yet, Tina, but I think it is 2 chefs that go into different cities and do challenges? I'll find out tonight!

I decided on Hamburger and Onion Stuffed bread. It's a Rachael Ray recipe I have posted and I haven't made it in forever. Will probably pull out some hot dogs for the onion pickers.

I just noticed while I was looking at it all the comments that I don't remember answering. I hope I didn't snub anyone. :(

Had a really late lunch with my sons so I just did grilled ham and cheese for supper with a tomato salad on the side.....Making the soup soon though, got some great broccolli at the farm stand.

We've got severe thunderstorm warnings here and even a tornado watch!!!!.....And Hurricane Bill is on it's way and gonna effect the surf at all the beaches in the notheast this weekend......But you'd think with all that, the temp would go down and the humidity would subside some....BUT NO!!!!!!!!.....not happening.....I'm so cranky!!!!

Hey all! Lunch at my sister's was really fun. Stayed till after 4:30. Wynne, your Popeyes Favorite was a hit. My niece was raving about it. My sister grilled salmon and made a fresh fruit salad. We had wine (of course) and played bocce ball afterward. Then Rumikub cuz Mom was worn out from the first game of bocce ball. I got some pics of our lunch and your dish Wynne - will be posting in a bit.

Tina, that bra is hilarious! Sorry, about your dinner plans changing at the last - don't you know you're not supposed to let them SEE the tuna can!? They'll balk every time. LOL But your new plan sounds good, too.

Pat, glad you don't have to cook in the humidity/heat. When is it going to get better?!

Have fun tonight Laurie, I'll have to check out Chef vs. City - I've never heard of it....

Wynne, the soup and sandwiches sound good, too.

Points, I'm glad your jelly was a smash hit.

Otter, 'wicked' ravioli and sausage sounds great!

Ang, I'll have to check out that hamburger and onion bread.

Enjoy the pizza and the rest of your vacation, Lillian.

Don't even want to think about dinner, but that's not fair to Brad, so I'm sure I'll come up with something.....

I'll post the pics I took of my Mom, Sister, and niece on the deck, and great niece playing on my page....

Too funny on the bra....TWO CUP SIZES! LOL!!

Gosh what a day. Hot--humid--running errands---gahh. Same for everyone, it sounds like!

It's seasoned cube steaks, baked taters and some broccoli over here tonight. Just pulled out FIVE gorgeous "sugar baby" melons from the weed patch that USED to be our garden, LOL....they are gorgeous--don't know how they'll be tasting.

Have a great weekend, everyone! :-)

so that was my mistake letting them see the tuna can........If it was already popped in the oven and baking I bet it would have changed their minds.

Garlic-sketti is good, and when you grill one NY strip and slice into thin strips, it will actually feed three fairly well. I doubled up my salad quotient and gave Fred more sketti. Just made Fred a chocolate milkshake and he is satiated finally.

Gotta look for Rumikub. Sounds like a fun afternoon.
Got to go post our freecycle stuff from the garage. Last set of folks did not show up to pick up the stuff, have to re-offer it again.

Judy and Tina, your dinners both sound delicious! yeah, Tina, that's at least how it is with Brad, if I just go ahead and make something like that, he doesn't balk, cuz it's good, and it's too late anyway. Never give 'em an out! LOL

Lasagna's in the oven - Brad's just getting out of shower..... dinner's to come..... It's actually smells good to me.
