Have fun Pat! Off to Knoxville with Hillary to take back some of the stuff we bought in Knoxville. Got a ham to put in the oven, not sure what I'm gonna do with it. Have a jar of home canned green beans, maybe some roasted red potatoes and some of my dad's slaw.

Hoping I get back without much walking today. Yesterday when we got up Bryan said "Let's go to Gatlinburg" (In smoky mnts) And we ended up driving up to the top of the mountain, Newfound Gap, on the NC and TN state line...just beautiful. LOTS of snow up there, got some great pix. Hope to get them on FB tonight or tomorrow night. Haven't read yesterday's yet, hope everyone is OK and not having too much trouble in MA with the storms!

    Have a good Sunday!

Thanks Lori. Don't overdo today. Jeanne got lots of snow in Vermont where they are skiing but we got mostly rain. We have escaped the last couple of storms!

Well sake alive! It's about time someone started this string. Already messed with my plants a little bit this morning and have some pasketi and meatballs on for lunch. Glad most all missed another huge dumping of snow in the NE.

Hey there. Still off cooking though I did make my breakfast wraps for work next week. I believe it will be open face turkey loaf sandwich with gravy and butternut squash with apples and cranberries. That ought to do it.

Spaghetti and meatballs were very delicious. Review is in the "IMI" group. Mother was busy burping and belching and breathing hard and wiping her mouth. Had to coax intelligent words out of her for the review. She likes this dish a lot but couldn't finish a small plate. I suspect it will be revisited again before evening church services.

Now for a subdued afternoon nap.

I am trying my hand at a pork loin today. Honey Roasted Pork Loin is the recipe here...I'll add the link.

Just found out from my sis that her youngest is pregnant. She had just told me a couple of months ago that they were getting married. Now I understand the rush. LOL

I'm finally going to be a Great Aunt!

Congrats Ang! I'm a great aunt too. Love it. And Honey Roasted Pork Loin sounds delicious!
Have fun with the kids, Pat! Although you are probably already back...
Lori, that sounds like so much fun! Can't wait to see the pics.
Wynne, ham sounds good, I still haven't gotten one, and I really want one!
Otter, that sounds soooo good to me.
P7O, I'm not sure your mother would approve of your descriptions of her eating... LOL Sounds good though.

We had lunch at a friends today - so good. She made paninis (sp?) Got a new Cuisinart press. Delicious! chicken breast, bell pepper, pesto and pepper jack. Now I want a panini press too! Great salad too - no lettuce, just chunks of tomatoes, yellow bell peppers, cucumbers, black olives, feta cheese, and drissled with olive oil and some lemon juice. I could eat THAT kind of salad every day! I brought the dessert. Apple crisp. I swear I'm still full. Hopefully, I can con Brad into the leftover Little Hot Tamale bites for dinner....

congrats to all in need of it! and wow a panini press - I have been toying with taking down my waffle maker which has extra 'sandwhich' plates I purchased but never really used to make my own paninis - got hooked on them during the recent stint in the hospital...

yes, you read that right - I was eatign fresh paninis made at the hospital - the food was really good - anyhoooo

made mmy shrimp scampi in a white wine and lemon juice - served over brown rice and veggies I am still trying to eat my way through...

going to take dog for a long walk in a moment - catching antique roadshow at the moment and about to call it a day -

bumped I burnt out my kitchenaid blender - by making hummus and allowing the motor to burn out! - so now I in the market for not only a blender but a new food processor to boot which went a month ago.

Any recommendations for either products? - food processor or blender? They got to be strong...

Can't help ya Diva on the food processor, I hardly ever use mine. Your dinner sounds good.

Well, my persuasion skills must be honing, cuz he agreed to eat the leftover Hot Tamale Little Bites. Woo hoo - now just have the little bit of chuck roast and gravy left - I'll take that out tomorrow for lunch. Night all........
