    Good afternoon folks.
    Someone is probably posting.
The foggy picture from yesterday was the view from Sea Hags restaurant where Liv works.
Need to get showered and dressed.
Salad and sandwich supper for me.
    Hugs to all.

    Hey all!

We're back! Had a great time last night. Bryan had toooo much fun if you know what I mean, and is paying for it today. So much for that spaghetti I wanted for dinner...lol...I guess I will be nice and not torture him with something like that. Maybe he can tolerate some
    Loaded Baked Potato Soup
    by tonight...*rolling eyes*

Still have to go back and read yesterday...hope everyone is well.

Have a good day at work, TIna!!

Cold and dreary here. We cam straight home instead of making stops we needed to make. I guess I will run to the store real quick, then back to my warm jammies and the couch. :)

The Sea Hags picture was a very cool one Tina. How's Fred doing with his tooth/gum?
Hi Lori! LOL @ Bryan being a bit too indulgent. :) Oh well...I'm sure he enjoyed himself. Yum on the Potato soup or the spaghetti.
It is snowing here and has been since we got up. Pretty as a picture as long as you don't have to go anywhere. We had eight deer milling around the house first thing and I've got a lot of action at my bird feeder. You may remember me telling you that I'd put my main feeder on a taller post to thwart the deer as they are expensive to feed! :) But with the snow being a little higher and them being a little hungrier they started to stretch a little further and a few days ago mastered getting some seed out. So....I counter attacked :) and used my last weapon...a 12" pole extension! Now the feeder is so high I have to use a stool to fill it! I'll keep you tuned to what the deer make of the situation! :)
Made omelettes for breakfast as per Benjamin's request and think I'll make up some
    Toasted Mushroom Bread
    for lunch.
    Am making Benjamin
    Tofu Chicken Nuggets Without Chicken
for dinner this evening and will make Jim and I some toasted chicken sandwiches with the leftovers from last night and have some of Tina's
    Sauerkraut Souppolish Style
frozen that I'll thaw and heat.
That's very neat that you had your first Cafe Latte in Berkeley Marie. I really would like to go see Berkeley this coming year. I remember hearing about it too as a teen growing up and all the craziness at the University and the sit-in's, etc. It's on my Bucket list. :)
And by the way....Marie and Joce...I believe you're the other Downton Abbey fans. The series starts back up tonight hey! A two hour special and before that...a one hour special about the mansion that the show is set in. We're pumped! :) And....Shirley MacLaine is going to be joining the cast this season.
And speaking of seasons....it looks like the NHL strike is finally over. Wow. Major excited about that. Jim and I have been in Hockey Withdrawal big-time!
Laurie, hope you are enjoying your Lounge Day! :) So fun that your sister is coming to visit and that your girls party is next Saturday. When you get a chance you'll have to let us know what you're planning to serve. It always sounds like such a fun night! :)

Tina, Hope you have a good shift again today. LOL Show me where the bullies are is cute and the quote is so right!

Lori, Welcome home! LOL Poor Bryan Oh well we all have to let our hair down sometimes! He will survive. I am glad you both had a good time though. Enjoy your jammie time and the loaded potato soup sounds like a plan to me.

Doing laundry here and grr doing one wash over again b/c I must have missed a kleenex in a pocket. Having a pot roast for dinner and just a reminder for those who watch it the new series of Downton Abby starts again tonight.

Hello out there. Just finished assembling a lasagna for dinner. It has been awhile. Snuck some fresh spinach into the ground beef and hot Italian sausage mix. That freezer is starting to look pretty empty. Here is hoping for some good sales next week.

Hello all. Yum.....kale and berrie smoothie..........NOT! Yuk Yuk Spit Spit.....lol........not my cup of tea or cup of smoothie, so to speak!

It has turned into a dreary, damp day here in "sunny" Florida. So decided to make some creamy potato soup as well, Lori. Actually mine will be a creamy veggie soup as I have some veggies left over from NYE that I need to use. So yep, potato, celery and carrot soup! Oh and some bacon pieces and cheese just to jazz it up a bit, lol. Cayce will be thrilled when he comes home from Dad's. He's my soup guy. I swear I could make rock soup and he would love it, lol! Will make another big salad to go with. Have some left over french bread I'll revamp in the oven too. Good enough for me!

    Enjoy what's left of Sunday............

OMG! Daughter just brought the boys home and also a new leather desk chair for me!!! They are refurbishing her office where she works and they were just throwing this chair out!!! It looks brand new and is a nice soft leather. She said she couldn't let that one go and thought of me with my most uncomfortable chair I have at my desk. Late Merry Christmas to me..........lol! It is sooooooo comfortable............and has arm rests...........what a pleasure!!!!!! Thank you dear daughter!!!

Yes Marie, I've made Tina's Sauerkraut soup numerous times before. I ADORE it! Tacos sound good. Hope you got your paper work done.

Ah, Lori.....poor Bryan. Glad you had fun.
Double yum on the pot roast suppers!
Marie, that pic was dockside at Seahags, people pull their boats in and stop in for dinner all the time. Good luck on the paperwork.
Janet, thanks for the reminder. I wanted to make a pot of sauerkraut soup myself. You are so kind in your review!
    Laura, watching the sales myself.
Laurie. can't believe your party is coming up so soon. I live vicariously through your parties!
Was reading the Detroit Press (Dahlia!!) great food section and the writer who shared 13 new places to try!! Made me drool at work.
Yeah Joce on Downtown Abbey. And hockey!! Fred is better thank you!
I hate when I wash the kleenex through the was as well.
