Toasted Mushroom Bread

- 1 large round loaf bread (Sourdough/Pumpernickel,etc.) shopping list
- 1/2 cup margarine shopping list
- 5 cups thinly sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 8 green onions, finely chopped shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
How to make it
- Slice bread in half horizontally. With fingers, pull out about one-third of the soft bread, reserving for another use if you wish.
- In bowl mix margarine together with the mushrooms, cheese, onions and garlic.
- Spread on both cut sides of bread and place, cut side up, on baking sheet.
- Bake in a 400F oven for 20-30 minutes or until crisp on the outside and the cheese is hot and melted.
- Cut each piece of bread into 6 wedges.
- Enjoy!
