Apple Ricotta Struesel Cake

Found this recipe on about.com. thought it sounded good especially now that apple season is here.
Ingredients
- 3 apples peeled,cored, and chopped shopping list
- 1 3/4 c flour shopping list
- 3/4 tsp bk powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp bk soda shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 c butter room temp shopping list
- 1 c sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp, vanilla shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 c ricotta shopping list
- streusel filling shopping list
- 2/3 c brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c flour shopping list
- 1/2 c quick cooking oats shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 4 tbls. butter cut in small pieces shopping list
- 2 tlbs. Crisco cut in small pieces shopping list
- 1/2 c pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Mix flour,bk powder, bk soda,salt into bowl
- in another bowl using electric mixer beat butter,then add sugar and vanilla for 30 seconds
- add eggs one at a time beating after each addition
- alternately add flour mixture and cheese to batter mix on low speed
- batter will be thick and stiff
- spread 1/2 batter in pan ,sprinkle 1/2 of streusel, then apples
- then spread rest of batter,use back of spoon to spread
- sprinkle rest of streusel and nuts on top
- bake 350 degress 45 minutes
- cool at least 1 hour
