Quick and Spicy Tamari Nut Mix

- 2 teaspoons peanut or canola oil shopping list
- 1 cup shelled pumpkin seeds shopping list
- 1 cup shelled peanuts shopping list
- 1/2 cup cashews shopping list
- 1/2 cup pecans shopping list
- 1/2 cup almonds shopping list
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- Squeeze of fresh lemon shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add nuts and sauté, stirring often for 3 to 5 minutes or until nuts begin to turn golden brown. Immediately drizzle soy sauce or tamari over mixture, and sprinkle with cayenne and lemon juice. Remove from heat and combine all ingredients. Cool for a few moments and serve. Leftover mixture can be stored at room temperature for up to one week.
