Ingredients
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water, potato water or broth
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • Mix cornstarch in water

Directions
  1. Mix cornstarch in water~
  2. add to ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar
  3. Stir till thickened
  4. Add Chicken to sauce, pinepple, green pepper and tomatoes which have been cut in wedges. Simmer 10 minutes more.
  5. Serve with rice.

I made grizzlybear's Crab Rangoon today and your sauce as a side. Very good, easy and I had all the items in my pantry! I have plenty left over and will be putting it over some chicken or pork sometime this week. thank you nancerose. :)
