Italian Chicken Spaghetti Recipe
I put this recipe together the other night and cooked it. It was a hit with everyone. (Even the dog. For those of you that remember. LOL)

Ingredients
  • 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano, undrained
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce with basil, garlic, and oregano
  • 1 cup of Italian salad dressing
  • Poultry seasoning
  • 1 (6.5 oz) can sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12 oz Angel Hair pasta
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Clean and dry the chicken beast
  2. Cut each one in half
  3. Sprinkle both sides of the chicken with poultry seasoning
  4. Put the chicken and the Italian dressing into a 1 gal Ziploc bag
  5. Mix well so that all of the chicken is covered with dressing
  6. Refrigerate the chicken for 4-6 hours
  7. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet on med-hi heat and sauté the onions for about 3 minutes
  8. Add the chicken and sauté for about 2 minutes on each side
  9. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and mushrooms to the skillet and Salt and Pepper to taste
  10. Bring to a low boil
  11. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes
  12. Cook the pasta according to package instructions
  13. Serve the chicken and gravy over the pasta and enjoy :)
