Italian Chicken Spaghetti

- 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts shopping list
- 1 medium onion, diced shopping list
- 2 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano, undrained shopping list
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce with basil, garlic, and oregano shopping list
- 1 cup of Italian salad dressing shopping list
- poultry seasoning shopping list
- 1 (6.5 oz) can sliced mushrooms (optional) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 12 oz angel hair pasta shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Clean and dry the chicken beast
- Cut each one in half
- Sprinkle both sides of the chicken with poultry seasoning
- Put the chicken and the Italian dressing into a 1 gal Ziploc bag
- Mix well so that all of the chicken is covered with dressing
- Refrigerate the chicken for 4-6 hours
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet on med-hi heat and sauté the onions for about 3 minutes
- Add the chicken and sauté for about 2 minutes on each side
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and mushrooms to the skillet and Salt and Pepper to taste
- Bring to a low boil
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions
- Serve the chicken and gravy over the pasta and enjoy :)
