Ingredients

How to make it

  • Pour entire can of pears, including juice, into saucepan on high heat.
  • Add corn syrup, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Bring to a hard boil and let boil for 5 minutes.
  • Mash pears, then continue to boil 5 more minutes or until thickened.
  • Add butter and enjoy!

    YUM!! Knew I would love this! Next time I need to make a double batch! I did sneak and save some cause I think it would be REALLY good warm on some vanilla ice cream! I served it on the cinnamon pancakes! Thanks Mrs. Williams!

    Yeah babs...I ended up just doing my own thing and didn't use that recipe. It did help for inspiration though, so thanks for finding that for me :)

    Sounds wonderful! I LOVE pears, and am not a maple syrup fan for pancakes, etc, so...this is exactly up my alley :) Would be great on spice pancakes, too...lil nutmeg in the batter...hmmmm.... :) Good job, MrsW!
