Caramel Apple Crisp

- 1/2 c caramel topping shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 6 large baking apples(about 2-3/4 lbs),peeled,cut into 1/2"slices (about 6 c) shopping list
- 2/3 c flour shopping list
- 1/2 c packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c cold butter,cut into small pieces shopping list
- 2/3 c quick-cooking oats. shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 375
- In large bowl,stir together caramel topping and cinnamon until blended. Add apples,toss until evenly coated. Spread in ungreased 8" square (2qt.) glass baking dish.
- In same bowl,mix 2/3 c flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter,using pastry blender(or pulling 2 table knives thru mixture in opposite directions.) until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Stir in oats. Crumble mixture over apples in baking dish.
- Bake 45 to 50 mins or till apples are tender and topping is golden brown. If desired,serve with whipped cream and additional caramel topping.
