Turkey Mexican Cornbread Bake

- 1 pound lean ground turkey shopping list
- 1 medium white onion chopped shopping list
- 14-1/2 ounce can Mexican style stewed tomatoes with juice shopping list
- 15 ounce can black beans rinsed and drained shopping list
- 8 ounces tomato sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup frozen corn shopping list
- 2 teaspoons chili powder shopping list
- 11-1/2 ounce can refrigerated cornbread twists shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 then cook turkey and onion in ovenproof skillet over medium 10 minutes.
- Stir occasionally until turkey is browned then drain well.
- Stir in tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce, corn and chili powder then heat to boiling.
- Immediately top with cornbread twists left in round shape pressing down gently.
- Bake uncovered 40 minutes or until cornbread is golden brown.
