Ingredients
  • Create any of the blends (most are in batches of 10 or 20 drops) by adding the proper amount of essential oils to a dark-colored glass bottle.
  • Add the appropriate number of drops from your created blend to your diffuser following the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Remember...be sure and familiarize yourself using reputable sources for the safety and contraindications of all oils you choose to use!
  • Make the smallest possible blend first to make sure you like the blend before doubling, tripling, etc. the recipe.
  • Please remember that thicker oils (vetivert, pachouli, oakmoss, sandalwood, benzoin) must be carefully used in nebulizing diffusers; check the instructions that come with your diffuser for specific information.
  • Please be responsible to find out the specific safety precautions and contraindications of the oils in the blends you choose to use.
  • Please note that these are posted for personal olefactory enjoyment and are not organized for any specific therapeutic or psychological benefit.

Directions
  1. You can use these oil mixtures in the reeds too if you mix them with pre-formulated reed diffuser oil base, or Dipropylene Glycol, Fragrance Grade. In the proper amounts.
  2. =================================================
  3. Reed Diffuser Oil Recipe Ingredients:
  4. 1 oz Essential oil(s)
  5. 2 1/4 oz Reed diffuser oil base (such as pre-formulated reed diffuser oil base, or Dipropylene Glycol, Fragrance Grade)
  6. Optional: 1/4 oz Perfumer's alcohol (you may or may not need this)
  7. Total volume of reed diffuser oil using this recipe: 3 1/4 oz to 3 1/2 oz
  8. ~
  9. You can scale this reed diffuser oil recipe to make a larger or smaller volume of oil. Just keep the ingredient proportions the same by multiplying or dividing all ingredient amounts in the recipe by the same number. Amounts don't have to be exact. Some reed diffuser oil formulas will work better with more (or less) essential oil/fragrance oil.
  10. ~
  11. Reed Diffuser Oil Recipe Instructions:
  12. Combine the essential oil(s) and diffuser oil base in a 4 oz glass bottle with a narrow neck. Cap the bottle and shake gently to mix.
  13. If the essential oils and dipropylene glycol form a solution that is too thick to wick up the reeds, add 0.25 oz perfumer's alcohol to the bottle and stir to mix. If it's still too thick, mix in another 0.25 oz perfumer's alcohol.

I have been trying to find an oil known as Oil of Theives. It has a delicious fragrance and is to help prevent airborne germs from spreading. If you know where I might be able to obtain this, would you please message me.
