Baked Caramel Apples

- 4 large tart apples, cored and peeled 3/4 inch off top shopping list
- 1/2 cup apple juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed shopping list
- 12 red hot candies shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 8 caramels shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, optional shopping list
How to make it
- Put apples into slow cooker
- Pour juice over apples
- Fill center of each apple with 2 tbls. sugar, three red hots, 1 tbls. butter and 2 caramels
- Sprinkle with cinnamon
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until apples are tender
- Serve with whipped cream and/or vanilla ice cream
