How to make it

  • In a large skillet, saute cashews in butter over low heat until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Add honey and cook. stirring constantly, 1 minute longer. Pour cashew sauce over beans and toss until coated. Spoon into serving dish and serve immediately.

    OH MY GOODNESS...this was sooooo delicious! I thought it would be sweeter, but the cashew saltiness gives the honey just a HINT of sweetness, and the nuts give it a wonderful crunch. Anyone looking at this recipe, MAKE IT - you will not regret it (especially now that fresh green beans are available). I had to take a picture to post, it was so pretty...

    I have a fresh bag of green beans in the fridge from the local farmers market, and a jar of cashews in the pantry - I gotta try this. Thanks for a different "twist" on green beans!!
