Creamy Peach Kuchen

- 2 cups sifted flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 16 peach halves shopping list
- 4 egg yolks shopping list
- 2 cup heavy cream or sour cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1-1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder into bowl. Cut in butter using pastry blender until consistency of cornmeal. Pack into an ungreased rectangular pan pressing against bottom and up sides about 1". Arrange peach halves cut side up in rows. Into a small bowl combine the 1-1/4 cup sugar with the cinnamon. Sprinkle sugar evenly over the fruit and bake at 400 for 15 minutes. In small bowl beat egg yolks then stir in the cream. Remove kuchen from oven and pour cream mixture evenly over fruit and return to oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cool in pan.
