It is that time of year where most or every one is coming down sick.This is the time of year to have hand sanitizer around at home, work, school and when you have to travel and what ever an person dose.

Contrary to the previous comment, I think we all need as many reminders as possible to use hand hygiene no matter how careful we think we are - we can all forget sometimes. We have a pandemic of swine flu on at the moment, as well as the regular seasonal flu season just about upon us. We have TV ad campaigns and leaflet drops and posters everywhere reminding us to use hygiene measures to limit the spread of this deadly illness. Are these inane and unnecessary too?

Oh and ya it is a cooking site so I hope EVERYONE is practicing good hand hygiene. Hand washing and cooking go hand in hand. And if it doesn't then all I can say is gross.
