Peach Melba

- 6 slices your favorite pound cake, I use a almond cake shopping list
- 3 cups French vanilla ice cream shopping list
- 18 slices of good peaches, fresh or frozen shopping list
- 1 cup of Melba sauce, directions below shopping list
- 2/3 cup chopped roasted almonds shopping list
- favorite whipped topping shopping list
- Melba Sauce shopping list
- 3 cups of raspberries shopping list
- 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
- Puree the raspberries, confectioners' sugar, and lemon juice in a blender. Strain to remove seeds. shopping list
How to make it
- Place a slice of almond pound cake in the bottom of each of six dessert bowls. Top each with a scoop of French vanilla ice cream (about 1/2 cup) and then fresh peach slices. Pour Melba sauce over peaches and ice cream. Garnish with chopped roasted almonds and whipped topping

My mouth is watering. I too liked peetabears recipe. I may soak my Peaches in Dark Rum (Myers) the night before. If I want over the top, Chambord Liquor over the raspberries (why not add a tad of raspberry liquor to the raspberries for the...morejolielives in The Catskill Plateau loved it -
