Russian Honey coffee cake loaf

- 1/2 c sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs, well beaten shopping list
- 3/4 c honey shopping list
- 2 tb oil shopping list
- 1/2 c Hot dark tea shopping list
- 2 tb whiskey shopping list
- 2 c Sifted flour shopping list
- 1 ts cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 ts baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 ts baking soda shopping list
- 3/8 c Chopped nuts shopping list
- Grated rind of one lemon shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients together and beat well.
- Pour into greased loaf pan which has been lined with waxed paper on the bottom.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour or until tested done.
- if browning too fast, cover with foil last 15 minutes of baking
- Cool completly
- wrap overnight before slicing
- freezes well
