Applebutter Spice Cake Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Coat 8 inch cake pan with nonstick spray
  • melt butter in sauce pan over medium heat swirl butter untill it turnsnutty brown about 1 mnute. pourinto large bowl add applebu tter brown sugar break up any lumps and add oil and whisk untill smooth. Add raisins buttermilk egg and vanilla mix well add flour baking soda cinnamon ginger allsipce and salt whisk to combined
  • Transfer b atter to prepared pan bake untill knife inserted comes out clean 35-40 min. cool 10 minutes befor serving.
  • 7 grams fat, 2 g. sat 3g mono 27 mg Cholestrol,58 grams carbs, 4 protien 2 gram. fiber 373 grams sodium 156 mg potassium
  • exchanges 4 oth cabrohydates 1 fat

    Hey Momo,
    I really love this one. I have some Apple Butter in my fridge and I love the spicy flavor of the stuff...I bet you could use this in place of some of the fat in recipes like you would applesauce. Maybe combine the two together huh?

    Anyhow, I can't believe how many hours have passed like nothing! I have watched the sun come up here in CA! It is now 7:10 a.m. I accomplished a lot anyhow!

    looks like a great recipe...but ...do you mean 12 cups buttermilk??? or 1/2 cups or maybe 1 1/2 cups??? LOL...
