Spaghetti Pie Recipe
This is great to use up leftover pasta and sauce that is around. I had leftover sauce, sausage, and meatballs that i used instead of the sauce that is recommended to be used and it was fantastic.

Ingredients
  • 1 package spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup ricotta
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions
  1. Cook and drain spaghetti. Stir in butter, parmesean, and eggs while pasta is hot. Form the mixture into a crust in a buttered 10 inch ie plate.
  2. Preheat oven to 359 degrees.
  3. In a skillet cook the beef, onion, pepper, and garlic until beef is browned. Drain off any fat and stir in the undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar amd oregano. Heat through.
  4. Spread ricotta over the spaghetti crust then add the beef/tomato mixture over the cheese.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes. Sprinkle the mozerella cheese over the top of the pie and then bake for five minutes longer un til the cheese melts.
