Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening shopping list
- 1 cup sgar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 11/2 cupsflour shopping list
- 1 tsp. bakig powder shopping list
- pinch sat shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- grated rind of 1 large lemon and juice shopping list
- 1/2 cups confectioner sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Cream together shortening and sugar then beat in Eggs sift togehter dry ingredients and stir into s ugar mixture Beat in milk and lemon rind,
- Bake 350 degrees in buttered,floured 9x5 inch loaf pan for 45 minutes
- Combined lemon juice and powder sugar to make glaze
- drizle over warm cake
