Country Crock Apples Recipe

How to make it

  • Put apples in a mixing bowl; toss with the flour and granulated sugar. Stir in raisins, cinnamon, and oats. Pour 1 cup water into crockery. Add apple mixture. Pour melted butter over apples and then sprinkle with brown sugar. Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours.

    Guess you could say this recipe is 'A Brown Betty' that went to pot :o)

    Have made something quite like this by that name.

    Would'nt this be great to walk in the front door,and have the delicious fragrance,drift through the nostrils...letting out with a YUMMMM!
