Ingredients

How to make it

  • Marinate the flank steak with the ginger and shao xing wine for 30 minutes.
  • In a wok add 1 TBS of the sesame oil and stir fry the carrots for 1 minute stirring frequently.
  • Add the asparagus, pea pods and stir fry for another minute.
  • Remove to a bowl and set aside.
  • Add the peanut oil to the wok and add the flank steak and stir for 1 minute.
  • Add the garlic, sambal and continue stir frying until pink dissapears from meat.
  • Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce, green onion and stir fry for 30 seconds.
  • Add the vegetables and stir fry for another 1 minute.

    I love this dish. There is a similar thing called a carpet bag steak but yours looks like it will be much better. A high 5.
