BUTTERSCOTCH FUDGE

- Ingredients: shopping list
- 1 tsp. Plus 2 Tbs. butter or margarine, divided shopping list
- 1 2/3 cups sugar shopping list
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk shopping list
- ½ tsp. salt shopping list
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows shopping list
- 1 package ( 10 to 11-oz ) butterscotch chips shopping list
- ½ cup chopped walnuts shopping list
- 1 tsp. maple flavoring shopping list
How to make it
- Line an 8-inch square pan with foil and grease the foil with 1 tsp. Butter; set aside.
- In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, milk, salt and the remaining butter; Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat; add the marshmallows, chips, nuts and maple flavoring. Stir until marshmallows and chips are melted. Spoon into prepared pan. Let stand until set.
- Using foil, lift fudge out of pan. Discard foil; cut fudge into 1-inch squares. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Yields: about 1 ½ pounds.
