ButterMilk Baked chicken

- 1/4 cup butter melted shopping list
- 4 bone in chicken breast skinned shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk divided shopping list
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 1{10-3/4 -ounce} can cream of mushroom soup{use better Brand} shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs {basil, Parsely or chives} shopping list
- Hot cooked rice {cook ahead of time and as much as you prefer for each serving} shopping list
How to make it
- Pour butter evenly in a bottom 13x9 baking dish
- Sprinkle chicken evenly with salt and pepper
- Dip chicken in 1/2 cup butterMilk and dredge in Flour
- Arrange chicken Breast side down in dish
- Bake 425 degree oven for 25 minutes
- Turn chicken Bake 10 more minutes
- Stir together remaining 1 cup butterMil;k Soup and Herbs Pour over chicken and Bake 10 more minutes
- Sheild with alumin foil to prevent ecessive browning
- Serve over rice

No matter how chicken is cooked, I like to marinate it before doing so. And buttermilk is wonderful for that.
