Coconut Island Chip Cookies

Found this in a cook book and added a few things, We love these, they are a little different but worth the try
Ingredients
- 1-2/3 cup flour shopping list
- 3/4 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 3/4 cup butter softened ( I used Can't Believe it's not butter baking butter) shopping list
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp almond extract shopping list
- 1/2 tsp coconut extract shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 (11.5 oz) milk chocolate Morsels shopping list
- 1 (8 oz) Mauna Loa Hershey Macadania Nut/White chips shopping list
- 1 cup flaked coconut shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in small bowl
- In large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, sugar and extracts till creamy
- Beat egg in
- Gradually add flour mixture till well blended
- Stir in morsels, coconut, and nut/chip mixture
- Drop by slightyly rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets
- Bake 8-12 minutes until edges are lightly browned
- Remove and cool on pans for 2 minutes then remove to
- cooling racks to cool completely
- Makes 4 dozen
