- 1 pound ground beef shopping list
- 1 (10-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, shopping list
- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 egg, lightly beaten shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onions shopping list
- 1 teaspoon savory shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup bourbon shopping list
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms shopping list
- 2 cups beef stock shopping list
- 1 package peppercorn gravy mix shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, add beef, 2 tablespoons of the mushroom soup, bread crumbs, egg, onions, savory, salt and pepper.
- Mix thoroughly and shape into 4 oval patties.
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Brown patties on both sides and set aside.
- Combine butter and bourbon in the pan, then add mushrooms.
- Saute mushrooms for 5 minutes.
- Add beef stock and whisk in gravy mix until smooth.
- Stir in remaining mushroom soup.
- Return patties to skillet and spoon gravy over top.
- Cover pan and simmer for 30 minutes.
