Dr Pepper Bbq Glaze Recipe
I got bored one day, so I made my own glaze for bbq grilling, like chicken, ribs, steak, etc. I don't use the measurement, I just go by my taste.

Ingredients
  • Dr Pepper (can use Diet for low carb or diabetic), estimate I use about 1 cup or 1- 12 oz can depends on the thickness to use as sauce or glaze.
  • Brown Sugar, estimate I use about 1/2 cup
  • Ketcup, approx. about 2 cups
  • Onion, small, finely chopped
  • Garlic, 2 cloves, minced
  • Vinegar, approx 1/2 cup
  • Soy Sauce, approx 2 tbsp
  • Smoke liquer, approx 1 tsp
  • Honey, approx 1/2 cup
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp chili pepper flakes
  • hot sauce, 1 tbsp, optional if you want it spicy.

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients well in med-large saucepan.
  2. Bring to boil, stir frequently with whisk wire.
  3. Adjust flavors to your taste.
  4. As I said, I don't use measurement with this recipe, just go by my taste.
  5. Brush on meat while grilling, or you can use for marinate for few hours.
  6. Enjoy!
