Dr Pepper Bbq Glaze

I got bored one day, so I made my own glaze for bbq grilling, like chicken, ribs, steak, etc. I don't use the measurement, I just go by my taste.
Ingredients
- Dr pepper (can use Diet for low carb or diabetic), estimate I use about 1 cup or 1- 12 oz can depends on the thickness to use as sauce or glaze. shopping list
- brown sugar, estimate I use about 1/2 cup shopping list
- Ketcup, approx. about 2 cups shopping list
- onion, small, finely chopped shopping list
- garlic, 2 cloves, minced shopping list
- vinegar, approx 1/2 cup shopping list
- soy sauce, approx 2 tbsp shopping list
- Smoke liquer, approx 1 tsp shopping list
- honey, approx 1/2 cup shopping list
- dash of salt shopping list
- dash of pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp chili pepper flakes shopping list
- hot sauce, 1 tbsp, optional if you want it spicy. shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients well in med-large saucepan.
- Bring to boil, stir frequently with whisk wire.
- Adjust flavors to your taste.
- As I said, I don't use measurement with this recipe, just go by my taste.
- Brush on meat while grilling, or you can use for marinate for few hours.
