Baja California is a desert. It never rains. You can always swim, fish, play tennis, go sailing, go horseback riding, whatever. You could until El Niño came along. It rained the day after I got there, and the next day and the next day; you get the picture. Read more You can walk on the beach in the rain a couple times. You can brave the downpour and go to the local cantina, which is full of smoke and noise and other people who have braved the downpour or you can watch videos back at the townhouse and invent drinks. If you invent a decent drink during a rainy week in Baja what do you call it? Right the first time. A note here: People stop by for a drink and I drag out the tequila. Where’s the worm, they ask. - • 3 oz Tres Sombreros golden tequila, any good brand will do. shopping list
- • 1/2 oz Cointreau shopping list
- • 1/4 oz Roses sweetened lime juice shopping list
- • juice of 1/2 lime shopping list
- • lime or orange wedge for garnish shopping list
