Crab Stuffed Chicken Breasts Recipe
This is a fancy take on chicken breasts for special occasions. Very impressive looking and taste awesome with the nutty taste of the Swiss cheese sauce.

Ingredients
  • 6 whole breasts, boned & skinned
  • Stuffing:
  • 1/2 c herb seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1/2 c celery
  • 1/2 c green onion
  • 1 5 oz can crabmeat, drained
  • 3 T butter
  • 3 T dry white wine
  • paprika
  • Sauce:
  • 1/3 c Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1/3 c dry white wine
  • 3 T butter
  • 3 T flour
  • 1 pint half/half cream

Directions
  1. Prepare stuffing mix. Place butter in mixing bowl and melt in microwave. Add onion and celery & cook 2 minutes, uncovered, stirring once. Add wine, stuffing mix and crabmeat. Mix well. Set aside.
  2. Pound chicken to flatten by placing between 2 pieces of wax papaer & pound with rolling pin until thin. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Divide stuffing among breasts, roll & secure with toothpicks. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover with waxed paper and cook in microwave for 10 minutes turning dish once. For convention oven, melt butter and cook ingredients in saucepan. Bake 375 for 45 minutes.

This was awesome!!!! I forgot to take a photo, sorry. But, the chicken was tender and the fresh crab meat we had was delicious in this. Oh, but we didn't have any swiss cheese, so we used Le Gruyere cheese instead. Thanks, again, for sharing your recipe. It was fantastic!!


Ok, I am intrigued! This sounds amazing!!! My mouth is watering! I like superdupper's idea of Gruyere cheese! I can't wait to make this!

I was having company for dinner and made this. It was a hit. I used xtra large chicken breast and really piled in the crab stuffing. The crab was moist and the chicken very tender. My company loved it. Thank you
