Cauliflower Peas Saute

- Cauliflower - 1 cup (chopped) shopping list
- Green peas - 1 cup shopping list
- Black pepper - 2 tsp shopping list
- Powdered cumin seeds - 2 tsp shopping list
- Turmeric powder - a pinch shopping list
- Melted butter - 1 tsp shopping list
- Salt - as required shopping list
- Curry leaves - few (www.bit.ly/cE3djG) shopping list
How to make it
- Soak the chopped cauliflower in salted hot water (kills germs, insects, pesticides etc) - 10 minutes
- Boit the chopped cauliflower and the peas in the microwave (10 to 15 minutes), in between pause the oven and mix some salt and turmeric powder to the water.
- Once the cauliflower and the peas are cooked, drain the water (if any) and keep them separate.
- In a microwave safe deep pan, add melted butter, pepper powder and curry leaves. Keep this in the oven for one and a half minutes (without closing the pan)
- Mix the cooked vegetables to this butter mixture and keep it in the oven for 5 minutes.
- Ready to serve!
