Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cut bacon into approximately 3 inch pieces. Wrap each shrimp with one piece of bacon. Skewer with wooden toothpick. Brush with honey mustard and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  • Broil at 400F on middle rack of oven for approximately 5-6 minutes on each side. Serve hot. If preparing larger quantities ahead of time, this may be reheated for 1-2 minutes in the microwave though it may compromise the crispness.

Delicious. I had six 16/20 shrimp and used two pieces of bacon. My broiler doesn't have a thermometer so I broiled them on high 6" from the element for six minutes each side. In IMI 1/10/16

@ Kim, I don't have an outdoor space to grill at my condo so I either broil or use our indoor grill w/liquid smoke (and a touch of water) in the drip tray. Your version sounds yummy!

Sounds greaqt. Decent shrimp are hard to get and expensive here so reckon I'll use chunks of lobster, which is cheap. Thanks for the post. RJ

We do something similar except we brush with tomato BBQ sauce and put on a charcoal grill. I love the applewood bacon too. How wrong can you go with shrimp and bacon...you could put anything on it! Thanks for sharing. Kim
