Ingredients

How to make it

  • Drain tofu and pat dry with paper towel.
  • Cut into slices about 1/2" thick and cover with marinade.
  • Refrigerate for at least 24 hours, or preferably longer, to allow the marinade to penetrate the tofu.
  • When ready to serve, remove from marinade and pat dry.
  • Brush lightly with vegetable oil.
  • Grill over medium heat, basting now and again with marinade, 5-7 minutes per side.
  • Enjoy!

    I would be thinking of grilling on something like a "George Foreman" type grill. Or a Webber Q. Any comments please? I do not know if a Webber Q is available in the US. The Webber Q may only be Australian.

    Omg you just answered my prayers! I have a vegie coming over for Thanksgiving and I was sooo terrified. I knew I wanted to do tofu for him, but it has as much flavor as wall paint :p I was scared to marinade it because I have never done that before. Any way ty sooo much for this recipe!

    Awesome ! I love how you have the tip about tofu:
    Drain tofu and pat dry with paper towel

    When you do this it allows the tofu to absorb any flavor you wish :)
