Steak Burgers Two Ways

For Chipotle Burgers
- 2lbs ground sirloin(or combine with venison, bison, elk, etc) shopping list
- 1T olive oil shopping list
- 1 can chipotle peppers in adobo, chopped(reserve about 2T adobo) {or to taste} shopping list
- 1/2t cumin shopping list
- 4oz monterey jack cheese, shredded shopping list
- salt and fresh ground pepper shopping list
For 4 Star Burgers
- 2lbs ground sirloin(or combine with venison, bison, elk, etc) shopping list
- 1T softened butter(or olive oil) shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 2oz crumbed blue cheese(I use gorgonzola) shopping list
- 2T fresh chives, chopped shopping list
- dash of liquid smoke shopping list
- 2t worcestershire sauce shopping list
- salt and fresh ground pepper shopping list
For Chipotle Mayo
- 1 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 2T reserved adobo shopping list
- 1/2t fresh lime juice shopping list
- 1/2t cumin shopping list
For Maitre D' Mayo
- 1 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 2T softened butter shopping list
- 2T fresh parsley, chopped shopping list
- 1t fresh lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
For Burgers
- For each type of burger, mix all ingredients in large bowl until well combined.
- Shape into 1/3lb burgers See Photo
- Grill to desired doneness(preferably medium rare :)
For Mayos
- For each type of mayo mix all ingredients until well combined.
- Chill until ready to use.
- Top burgers with any desired toppings, but I prefer, with these, to really taste the burgers, and usually use nothing more than leaf lettuce(or spinach) and fresh sliced tomatoes! :)
