How to make it

  • Cut French bread loaf in half, cutting the top part off to make 2 halves. Mix all of the other ingredients together to make a spread for the bread. Spread the mixture on the 2 halves and place in large baking dish, spread side up. Bake 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees until golden brown.

I made a version of this today, using Alexia brand garlic bread. For this, I left out the margarine, garlic salt, and salt as it was already there. It is delicious. I wonder though, what is orange/red in the photo? Are they green olives w/pimientos?
