How to make it

  • Season the flour and dredge chicken parts in it and brown chicken in oil till browned on all sides. Remove from pot. Saute onions,garlic and mushrooms till soft and slightly browned.
  • Add chicken back to pot and add tomatoes(mash a bit),tomato paste and wine.
  • Simmer till chicken is cooked. Add the torn basil leaves near the end of cooking time.
  • If sauce is too thick,can add a little water or more wine.
