How to make it

  • In saucepan heat butter over medium heat until light amber color. Cool slightly. Add vinegar, catsup, brown sugar, garlic, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir pineapple juice into cornstarch; gradually add to hot mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Brush sauce on lightly while barbecuing, then spread on generously before serving. Great as a dipping sauce also. Makes 1 1/2 cups.

    This sounds great! It's really hard to find a great recipe for sweet and sour sauce that doesn't taste overwhelming and... well... not sweet and sour sauce! *LOL* I'll definitely give this one a shot! Thanks for sharing! :)
