Ingredients

How to make it

  • Brown meat in medium, heavy skillet(I use cast iron).
  • Drain if needed.
  • Add diced bell pepper, minced onion, if using, seasonings and water, if needed, and stir to combine and heat through and thicken, if needed.
  • Set aside til cool enough to handle with hands. See Photo
  • Add green onions, olives, and cheese and mix to combine.(I use my hands :) See Photo
  • Add about 1 rounded T of filling to each wonton wrapper. See Photo
  • Fold over, sealing edges with water and pressing to close. See Photo
  • Fry in 350 oil for a couple minutes on each side, until golden brown. Make sure to keep oil at between 350-360 at all times.
  • For dipping Sauce

  • Combine all ingredients and let rest while preparing above wontons.
