Ingredients

How to make it

  • Crumble up the ground beef and mix with chopped onion and chopped green pepper in a large pot on the stove. Cook and stir until no pink remains in the hamburger.Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring often. Cut up or mash the tomatoes to separate. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered to let the flavours meld. If the mixture looks too thick, thin it with a bit of the left-over juice from the can of the tomatoes. Serve with nice warm rolls or crusty bread!

Heat's almost too steep for me. Would use 33% less next time.
Edit: Just figured out I used T's instead of t's on the spice measurements. Sorry 'bout the lowered rating. Maybe it could have been a 5 if I followed the recipe more closely. Can't go back in and change the rating.
