Blueberry Marmalade Recipe
This is Southern Livings recipe...According to them.. if you've never *put up* anything...this is the one to try...only uses 4 cups of berries for 6 half pints.

Ingredients
  • 1 medium orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 4 cups fresh blueberries, crushed
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 1 (6 oz) package liquit fruit pectin

Directions
  1. Peel orange and lemon; finely chop rind, and place in a Dutch oven.
  2. Chop orange and lemon pulp, and set aside.
  3. Add 3/4 cup water and baking soda to rind; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes.
  5. Add chopped orange and lemon pulp, blueberries, and sugar, return to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes.
  8. Add pectin; return to a boil; boil, stirring constantly, 1 minute;
  9. Remove from heat, and skim off foam with a metal spoon.
  10. Pour into hot, sterilized jars, filling to 1/4 inch from top.
  11. Wipe jar rims; cover at once with metal lids, and screw on bands.
  12. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
  13. Yield: 6 half pints.

I'm a little tired of my own plain-Jane blueberry jam. This sounds great!
