From foodygirl1979 13 years agoIngredients
- 2-8oz. pkgs. refrigerated crescent rolls shopping list
- 1/2 cup mayo, or as needed shopping list
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon coarsley ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 cups cooked turkey or chicken, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup celery, sliced shopping list
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries shopping list
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- unroll crescent dough and seperate into 16 triangles.
- With wide ends of the triangles towards the center, arrange 8 triangles in a circle on a 12" round pizza pan or large cooke sheet. Corners of wide ends will touch and points will extend beyond the baking sheet.
- Arrange remaining 8 triangles in center, matching the wide ends.
- Seal seams. Points will overlap in center; DO NOT SEAL.
- Combine all remaining ingredients, except egg, in a mixing bowl and stir to mix well.
- Spoon filling over seams of dough, forming a circle.
- Beginning in center, lift one dough triangle across mixture.
- Continue alternating with outer triangles to form a wreath shape, tucking ends underneath as you go along.
- Beat egg in a small bowl and brush over dough.
- Bake 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cut, serve and enjoy!
- NOTE: This tastes great hot or cold and makes wonderful leftovers. I could seriousley eat the filling alone, so be sure to make extra (I double it) to have on hand for sandwiches or a light lunch.
