Ingredients

How to make it

  • Boil 3/4 c milk with butter and sugar. Dissolve flour in 1/4 c milk.
  • Pour flour mixture into milk mixture to make a thin white sauce.
  • Add to drained corn in 1-1/1/2 Pyrex loaf pan. Mix in eggs. bake 1 hour at 400'

    If this isn't the BEST, it's pretty close! It wins the prize in my book, anyway...
    I posted my pic, and it looks slightly different than yours. Mine fell a bit in the center as it cooled, but it did not separate or end up watery like other baked corn I've made. While it was baking, I put a couple of potatoes in the oven and fixed Teriyaki Salmon for a great meal. Having the oven on that long was nice on a cold & icy winter day!

    Did you see this recipe in the Parade Magazine that comes in weekend newspaper? A recipe submitted by Dean Koontz? I found it and thought it sounded so good that I was planning to make it but didn't because I had other veggies to use first. We must have very similar tastes in cooking...
