Egg Drop Soup

- 2 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil shopping list
- 2 teaspoons chopped green onion (reserve a few pieces for garnish) shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cold water shopping list
- 2 eggs, beaten well shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, sesame oil and green onion. Bring to a boil.
- Stir together the cornstarch and water; pour into the boiling broth and stir until the broth has thickened slightly.
- Continue to stir gently while you pour in the egg. Add salt and pepper to taste; garnish with reserved green onion tops.
