How about using fresh tomatoes, such as Roma, Ace, or others. I posted making tomato sauce on the BBQ which was too much fun. You get a wonderful toasted taste and then I added ground beef to some and froze it in zip lock bags. I did a wonderful tomato bisque and then could not find the recipe again. Great sadness! I planted 17 tomato plants this year! I went crazy. I planted Roma, Ace, Beefsteak, special extra sweet cherry tomatoes. Yikes, tomatoes from Sacratomato! Glad you are enjoying the bio.
