Andes Mountain Pie

- 1 bag Andes mint pieces shopping list
- 2 blocks cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter, softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 2T creme de menthe liqueur shopping list
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped to form stiff peaks OR 1 container frozen whipped topping, thawed, can be used shopping list
- 1 8-9inch oreo crust(purchased or homemade) shopping list
How to make it
- In medium glass bowl melt mint pieces, slowly(20 seconds at a time) in microwave or over double broiler.
- In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Add melted chocolate and liqueur, if using, and mix well until uniform color.
- Carefully fold in whipped cream until all incorporated and uniform color.
- Spoon into crust and chill at least 4 hours.
- (top with chocolate curls or shaved chocolate or mint pieces or fresh mint and a dab more whipped cream, if desired)
