There is just nothing to this dessert. So fast to whip up, but it does need chill time, which I've included in cook time!~~Thank you, Christina and sweet Gabe for the photo!~~

Ingredients
  • 1 bag quality semi sweet chocolate chips(I used Ghirardelli)
  • 2 blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 stick butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1t vanilla
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped to form stiff peaks OR 1 container frozen whipped topping, thawed, can be used
  • 1 8-9inch graham cracker, oreo or shortbread crust(this filling will FILL these crusts, to the edges and beyond :)

Directions
  1. Carefully melt 3/4 bag of chocolate chips in microwave or a double broiler. Until smooth and melted. (takes about 1-2 minutes in microwave, so set for one, stir, and continue, 20 seconds at a time, stirring each time, until melted. Set aside
  2. In mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla and beat until smooth.
  3. Add melted chocolate and continue to mix until well combined.
  4. Carefully fold in whipped cream until all incorporated and combined.
  5. Spoon into crust and top with remaining chocolate chips.
  6. Chill at least 4 hours.

You are probably right about the peanut butter chips not melting well. I just love the chocolate & peanut butter combo. Maybe just use peanut butter chips on the top :) I printed it out to try.
