How to make it

  • In a large saute pan, lightly brown sausage.
  • Add olive oil, spice, salt, peppers, celery, onion and garlic, saute until onion and celery are translucent,
  • Add beans, cover and simmer on low for 15 min.
  • Add rice and liquid cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

    Did you know that corn is America's number one field crop...Yeah Uh-huh!
    ~So~
    Consuming this wonderful recipe with a corn chip instead of a fork would be nutritionlly sound.
