Salmon In Spicy Lemon Lavender Butter

- 6 salmon fillets shopping list
- 6T butter, melted shopping list
- 2 lemons shopping list
- 1T dried lavender (can sub grains of paradise) shopping list
- 2T chives, divided shopping list
- 1T smoked paprika shopping list
- 1-2t dried ancho chili powder shopping list
- 2-4T honey shopping list
- kosher or sea salt and fresh ground pepper shopping list
How to make it
- In small bowl, combine melted butter, juice from lemons, lavender, paprika, chili powder, 1T chives, and honey.
- Whisk well.
- Place salmon fillets(skin side down, if necessary) in a lightly oiled casserole dish
- Pour mixture over the fillets and let rest about 20 minutes or so.
- Bake at 375 for about 15-17 minutes, or so, until fish flakes easily. Do not over cook!
- Serve with a few extra chives, as garnish and spoon the sauce over the salmon.
