How to make it

  • In small bowl, combine melted butter, juice from lemons, lavender, paprika, chili powder, 1T chives, and honey.
  • Whisk well.
  • Place salmon fillets(skin side down, if necessary) in a lightly oiled casserole dish
  • Pour mixture over the fillets and let rest about 20 minutes or so.
  • Bake at 375 for about 15-17 minutes, or so, until fish flakes easily. Do not over cook!
  • Serve with a few extra chives, as garnish and spoon the sauce over the salmon.

I made the other night, Keni. Your directions, cook temp and time were perfect. But, from this, I have discovered that I am not a fan of lavender and therefore feel that I should not rate based upon that. I will try this next time with all but the lavender. I added a pic to show how great this recipe turns out. More posted in IMI Mr Piggy
