Hot Fudge Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup all pupose flour

3/4 cup white sugar

6 Tablespoons baking cocoa, divided

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt (usually leave out)

1/2 cup milk

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 3/4 cups hot water

Whipped cream or ice cream or heck have both!

In medium bowl combine:

flour, white sugar 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt.

Stir in until smooth:

milk, oil and vanilla

Spread in an ungreased 9" square pan.

Combine and sprinkle over batter in pan:

remaining 4 tablespoons cocoa and brown sugar.

Pour hot water over all. DO NOT STIR!

Bake 350 for 35-40 minutes.

Serve warm.

Directions

Top with whipped cream or ice cream or both.

makes 9 servings...I get less per serving. I am generous with my portions. I usually make 2 pans of this.

Killer good! We made this and it is different. I'm not much of a cake eater, but this one is not really a cake, just like you said. It's pudding like and gooey and just good. This is a keeper.
